A casket or cremation box depending on which service you choose, both handmade here in our Dunedin facility

All legal paperwork in the process including; registration of death, permission for cremation, registration of cremation, coroners or medical certificates and the option (at an additional cost) of a death notice in the local paper. Exit Funerals can advise on Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) assistance.

Transportation of the casket or cremation box hearse to the crematorium.

Personalised Caskets

We sell eco-friendly caskets that can be personalised and finished by the family as well, given enough notice you can buy a casket in its natural state (unfinished) and finish it to your liking, to create a truly personal send off. All caskets are handmade in Dunedin, using rope handles and non-tanalised timber with waterbased glues, stain, and varnish.
